MMA is technically not a “team sport” considering each fighter is on their own in the cage. However, every fighter will tell you that each of their victories is because of their team. Therefore, it’s very important for a fighter to make sure they find the right fit for their skills.

Elevation Fight Team is having a phenomenal 2018. The latest evidence of this can be seen in the results of UFC Fight Night 135. Drew Dober and Cory Sandhagen put on great performances and came out winners at Lincoln, Nebraska.

These victories put the team with an impressive 8-0 in the UFC in 2018. Their fighters have won their last 10 fights in the UFC, with their last defeat coming in November of 2017. Since then, Neil Magny, Dominick Reyes, Curtis Blaydes, Drew Dober and Cory Sandhagen have remained unbeaten.

Neil Magny defeated Carlos Condit via decision in December of 2017. Then, in May of this year he TKOd Craig White in Liverpool.

Dominick Reyes debuted in the UFC in December of 2017 submitting Jeremy Kimball. This year, he beat Jared Cannonnier by TKO in May.

Curtis Blaydes outlasted Mark Hunt in February, then annihilated Alistair Overeem in June of this year.

Drew Dober scored unanimous decisions over Frank Camacho (January) and Jon Tuck (August) of this year.

Cory Sandhagen disposed of both Austin Arnett and Iuri Alcantara by TKO, in the same cards as Drew Dober.

There are two more fights remaining for Elevation Fight Team in 2018. They are very close to finish the year undefeated. Neil Magny will travel to Buenos Aires to take on Argentinian Santiago Ponzinibbio in November. A week later, Curtis Blaydes will try to even the score with Francis Ngannou in China.

Regardless of what happens in those two fights, Elevation Fight Team has proven to be doing things right. The future looks bright for their UFC fighters, which will in turn, help all their fighters to enhance their skills.
